Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Maintains necessary level of communication with team members and other support groups and does so in a participative management style, conducive with operational goals.
- Maintains Company standards for safety, quality, food safety, sanitation and GMPs.
- Diagnoses, troubleshoots, overhauls and repairs equipment in the boiler and refrigeration and all other utility systems to minimize downtime.
- Performs welding for repair and fabrication as required. Performs preventative maintenance on all boiler, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment throughout the facility.
- Observes and tests system operation using gauges and instruments. Comfortable with control panel interface screens and HMI’s, and knows how to react to alarms and items that need attention from the control system.
- Tests lines, components, and connections for leaks. Performs boiler feed water, condensate and cooling tower water analysis and makes necessary adjustments to maintain desirable results.
- Monitors the Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer (RTO).
- Responsible for fryer and dryer exhaust systems, compressed air system, domestic water, hot water, air handlers, glycol systems and cleaning chemical distribution systems.
- Maintains the DAFT (Dissolved Air Flotation for oil skimming).
