Company Description Simpli Speech provides personalized, client-centered speech and language therapy for children and adults starting at 18 months and across the lifespan. The practice serves families in Southeast Michigan, offering care that is tailored to each client’s communication needs and goals. Simpli Speech specializes in apraxia, fluency disorders and stuttering, early intervention, autism, receptive and expressive language delays, speech-sound disorders, aphasia, and dementia. Clinicians collaborate closely with clients, families, and caregivers to support meaningful progress and functional communication in daily life.


Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Speech Language Pathologist based in Dearborn, MI, with the option to complete some responsibilities from home. This is a position in collaboaration with OT and ABA.

The Speech Language Pathologist will evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide evidence-based therapy to children and adults. Day-to-day tasks include conducting assessments, delivering in-person therapy sessions, documenting progress, and communicating regularly with clients, families, and caregivers. The role also involves collaborating with other professionals as needed, participating in care planning, and staying current with best practices in speech-language pathology. The clinician will contribute to a supportive, inclusive environment that prioritizes functional outcomes and client-centered care.


Qualifications

  • Demonstrated skills in Speech Therapy, including assessment, treatment planning, and delivery of evidence-based interventions.
  • Experience working with a range of Speech and Communication Disorders across the pediatric population.
  • Knowledge of Language Disorders and their impact on receptive and expressive communication.
  • Understanding of Dysphagia evaluation and management, particularly in medically involved or adult clients.
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility, and state licensure (or ability to obtain licensure) in Michigan.
  • Strong documentation, time management, and clinical reasoning skills, with attention to ethical and culturally responsive practice.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setting, providing both in-person and telepractice services.
  • Experience in early intervention, autism, or neurogenic communication disorders is beneficial.
