Cabinet Designer / Sales Associate (Training Provided)

We're a growing cabinet company looking for a motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Cabinet Designer/Sales Associate. You'll work directly alongside one of our top-performing, high-volume designers, learning the ropes of the business from the ground up — with the goal of eventually running your own book of clients and projects independently.

This is a hands-on, varied role. No two days look the same: one day you might be sketching a kitchen layout, the next you're meeting a client on-site, and the next you're placing an order or checking in on a job in progress. Behind the scenes, this job comes with a real amount of paperwork and detail-tracking — quotes, orders, change orders, job files, client notes — so staying organized isn't optional, it's a core part of doing this job well. What You'll Be Doing

• Learning and eventually producing cabinet designs and drawings using 2020 Design software
• Assisting with and eventually preparing project quotes and estimates
• Ordering materials and cabinetry for jobs
• Meeting with clients to discuss their projects, needs, and preferences
• Organizing and tracking jobs from design through installation
• Occasionally assisting in the field to see projects through from start to finish
• Building relationships with clients and providing a great customer experience from first meeting to final walkthrough

What We're Looking For

• A positive, can-do attitude — this is a sales-driven role, so enthusiasm and people skills matter
• Genuine interest in design, space planning, or the cabinet/millwork industry
• Comfortable learning new software (prior experience with 2020 Design, AutoCAD, or similar is a plus, but not required)
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail — this role involves a significant amount of paperwork, order tracking, and job file management, and staying on top of it is critical
• Comfortable juggling multiple jobs/projects at once without losing track of details
• Ability to communicate clearly and confidently with clients
• Willingness to learn from an experienced mentor and take initiative as skills grow
• Reliable, coachable, and eager to grow into a fully independent design/sales role over time

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
