- Maintain cleanliness of overall facility
- Use and maintain assigned power equipment and hand tools; buffers, auto scrubbers, extractors, high pressure washers, high speed buffers and vacuums, brooms, mops, and squeegees for the cleaning and general maintenance of floors, walls, carpets, furniture, etc.
- Clear debris from grounds
- Remove snow from sidewalks, driveways, and parking areas, snow blowers, and snow shovels
- Service, clean, and supply restrooms
- Gather and empty trash
- Attend to emergency janitorial needs when necessary
- Use cleaning solutions to remove stains and clean surfaces
- Identify and report possible needed repairs
- Comply with all safety regulations and maintain a clean and orderly work area
Requirements
- Must be able to lift and move objects up to 75 pounds consistently with heavier weight necessary at times.
- Must have minimal computer knowledge (accessing email)
- Must be able to stand, bend or work in various positions.
- Must be able to work inside or outside in varied environmental conditions and in inclement weather.
- Experience working in a low-supervision environment required
- Must be able to communicate (read, write and speak) the English language clearly
