Overview
We’re hiring a part‑time bookkeeper to join our growing, fully remote accounting practice.
This role is best suited for someone who:
- Has served as an office manager or bookkeeper in a small business or non-profit for at least two years
- Has worked as an independent bookkeeper for small business or nonprofit clients and now prefers to join forces inside a supportive firm
- Brings a blend of accounting, operations, and people skills from prior roles or life experience
- Wants a part-time job right now, with the option to grow it (or not) to full-time
Role Description
- Full‑charge bookkeeping for nonprofit and small business clients with multiple entities
- Accounts receivable support, reconciliations, CRM data entry, and sales reporting
- Clients range from highly structured to informal—judgment and communication matter
Once current work is fully onboarded, this role represents ~25 hours/week, with the option to grow by adding clients or expanding responsibilities.
Qualifications
- QuickBooks Online, Google Workspace, Windows proficiency
- Comfort with Schedule C & Schedule E concepts and active vs. passive income
- Understanding of small business payroll, contractors, and basic compliance
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a billable‑hours environment
- Strong follow‑up and client communication skills
Schedule & Eligibility
- Fully remote, flexible schedule
- Must be available 2–3 days/week between 9–5 EST
- May not hold another full‑time job: not a nights‑and‑weekends role
- Must live in Florida and be authorized to work in the U.S.
