Job Responsibilities
Resident Support & Care
- Implement individualized support and care plans.
- Assist residents with daily living activities (ADLs) including hygiene, grooming, dressing, and basic personal care.
- Support medication assistance and follow proper administration documentation.
- Assist with meal preparation and household routines.
- Provide transportation for appointments and community activities.
- Respond to challenging behaviors calmly and professionally to ensure safety for all residents and staff.
Position schedule details
20 hours/week
Saturday 12 PM–8 PM
Sunday 8 AM–8 PM
Staff & Team Support
Work collaboratively with other staff members and follow all company policies and procedures.
- Show leadership qualities and the ability to support peers and assist management when needed.
- Be available and flexible for schedule adjustments when necessary.
Documentation Responsibilities
Complete accurate documentation using our electronic record system.
- Record medication administration, incidents, and daily progress notes.
- Assist with supply management, household duties, and grocery coordination.
Communication
Communicate effectively with residents, families/guardians, and coworkers.
- Report any concerns or changes in resident status to management in a professional and timely manner.
Growth Opportunity
This is an entry DSP role with a development path into a House Manager position within 90 days for candidates who demonstrate strong leadership, professionalism, reliability, and management potential.
Qualifications
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
- CNA experience is preferred.
- Experience in a group home or assisted living environment is a plus.
- Ability to remain calm in high-stress situations.
- Must be dependable, organized, and willing to grow with the company
- Must have a Drivers license
All staff will receive training prior to working independently:

- Other trainings required by the State of Utah
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
