What are the responsibilities and job description for the Remote Radiologist - Nuclear Medicine position at SimonMed?
Job Duties:
- Interpret nuclear medicine studies such as PET, SPECT, bone scans, thyroid scans, and other specialized nuclear imaging procedures.
- Utilize AI-assisted workflow tools to enhance reporting efficiency and diagnostic precision.
- Communicate findings clearly and effectively to referring physicians.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, regulatory, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with technologists, radiologists, and other clinical staff to optimize patient care.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.
Education and Experience:
- MD or DO with Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Radiology.
- Fellowship training in Nuc Med Imaging preferred.
- Valid state medical license (or eligible for licensure).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Excellent diagnostic skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Comfortable working in both remote and on-site environments.
