Position Summary
The Manager, Brand Creative at Simon Pearce is a dynamic and multifaceted manager of the team responsible for shaping and elevating our brand’s voice and visual identity. This role requires a combination of creative vision, brand strategy expertise, and creative production. The Manager, Brand Creative will inspire and guide a talented team, partner with experts across our design-led organization to drive innovative campaigns from concept to completion and ensure our brand message is delivered consistently and compellingly across every branded touchpoint.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead with strategy:
- Develop and implement a compelling creative vision and brand strategy that aligns with overall business goals and marketing objectives.
- Serve as the brand steward, ensuring consistent, authentic and distinctive creative execution across all touchpoints—including marketing campaigns, product & retail experiences, and corporate communications.
- Translate high-level strategic direction and market insights into inspiring, human-centered creative concepts and narratives.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities to ensure our brand remains innovative and culturally relevant.
- Collaborate with the Commercial Leadership Team to build consensus and evangelize the creative vision to internal and external stakeholders.
Inspire creative:
- Lead brainstorming sessions and oversee the end-to-end creative process for all projects, from ideation to final delivery.
- Provide clear and constructive creative direction to a multidisciplinary team of creatives (including design, copy, photo/video, visual merchandizing).
- Elevate the quality and cohesiveness of all creative output, pushing for originality and emotional impact.
- Maintain and evolve brand guidelines, ensuring they are a living framework that balances consistency with creative freedom.
- Build and roll out a robust design system and oversee creative production for various mediums, including video, digital, print, and experiential marketing.
- Collaborate with internal and external producers, videographers, photographers to art direct shoots in studio and on location.
Manage production:
- Optimize creative workflows within the overall Go-To-Market process, leveraging AI for production, to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Manage creative timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring high-impact creative is delivered on time and within scope.
- Serve as the point person for strategic creative requests, effectively managing expectations and priorities for stakeholders across the organization.
- Utilize project management tools and methodologies to track progress, facilitate communication, and enable agile execution.
- Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the creative team by analyzing outcomes and refining processes.
Supervision/Leadership:
- Leads the Creative team.
- Recruits, interviews, hires and trains staff.
- Overseas daily workflow of department
- Provides constructive and timely performance feedback
- Fosters a culture of collaboration and transparency
Qualifications
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in a design-related field or equivalent experience
- 8 years of progressive experience in a creative role, with at least 2 years in a management position.
- A proven track record and portfolio showcasing successful brand-building and marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
- Deep expertise in creative strategy and brand development, with an understanding of how creative decisions impact business results.
- Exceptional project management, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to manage complex projects and competing priorities.
- Proficiency with modern creative production tools and project management platforms (e.g., Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Asana, Bynder)
Qualifications Desired:
- Experience leading a creative function for a notable in-house brand or agency.
- Familiarity with leveraging AI tools for creative development and production.
- Experience managing and cultivating relationships with external agencies, creative partners and vendors.
- Passion for craftsmanship, design, and storytelling aligned with Simon Pearce’s heritage and values.

The employee must regularly lift, move, wield up to 25 pounds (product, props, equipment). Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the office environment is usually quiet.
For some maker video content creation in the workshop that exposes the employee to UV light and extreme heat, P.P.E. is supplied. There is also exposure to [dust] airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and equipment that is hot to the touch. The workshop environment is moderate to noisy and again, P.P.E. is available.
This role will periodically involve work outside normal hours.

Salary : $120,000 - $150,000
