Duties
- Greet customers and assess their vehicle service needs.
- Provide detailed explanations of services and repairs needed.
- Prepare accurate estimates and scheduling for service work, utilizing your knowledge of auto estimating and automotive diagnostics.
- Collaborate with service technicians to ensure timely and quality repairs.
- Maintain clear communication with customers throughout the service process, providing updates on vehicle status.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to answer customer inquiries related to vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, brake repair, transmissions, and more.
- Manage inventory
Qualifications
- Previous experience is preferred.
- Proficient in Shop Management Software.
- Strong background in auto service management and automotive repair.
- Familiarity with mechanical systems, including air brakes, alignment, suspension, tire service, diesel engine repair, shocks & struts, and auto body repair.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Experience in sales.
- Proficient in service writing and understanding of automotive service processes.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
