To establish a list of eligible candidates that will be used to fill an anticipated vacancy for the duration of the list, up to one year. The anticipated vacancy is a 12 month, full-time (8 hours/day) position located with the Department of Certificated Personnel (Teaching), at the District Office in Simi Valley. Recruitment and Selection
•Coordinates certificated and administrative recruitment, pre-screening, reference checking, interviews, and related processes.
•Advises administrators and staff on recruitment and selection procedures, outreach strategies, and use of candidate selection tools.
•Places certificated incumbents on appropriate salary schedules for payroll processing.
•Reviews, processes, and accepts certificated applications, including verifying transcripts and required documentation
•Develops and maintains applicant lists and related records.
•Prepares and distributes job announcements and advertisements; develops brochures describing the district and community.

•Accesses HRIS data and personnel files to analyze and project staffing needs based on turnover, retirements, program needs, subject areas, and enrollment trends.

•Analyzes certificated staffing data considering special skills, projected vacancies, and retirements.
•Maintains an automated human resources system supporting data relevant to employee assignments.
