Job Title: Senior Data Engineer
Location: Secaucus, NJ (Remote)
Note: We are looking for candidates who can work on W2.
We’re looking for a passionate Data Engineer to join our agile team and play a key role in designing, building, and scaling modern data solutions on a cloud platform. In this role, you’ll partner with business stakeholders and technology teams to turn complex data needs into reliable, scalable, and impactful data products that power decision-making across the organization.
What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data products within a cloud ecosystem (GCP preferred).
- Build and optimize ETL/ELT workflows using tools such as Dataflow, Dataform, Matillion, or similar.
- Develop robust data models using BigQuery or modern cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake) to support analytics and business intelligence.
- Deliver impactful data solutions for BI tools like Looker, QuickSight, or other visualization platforms.
- Collaborate closely with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code (SQL, scripts, and procedures) that meets functional and performance standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data and system issues, providing ongoing support and ensuring high availability of data systems.
- Act as a technical mentor, sharing knowledge and promoting engineering best practices within the team.
- Partner with external vendors to co-develop and integrate solutions.
- Communicate effectively with project leads and team members regarding progress, risks, and solutions.
- Ensure compliance with internal standards and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
What You Bring
- Experience: 3–5 years in data engineering or related roles
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, or a related field
- Strong expertise in cloud data platforms (GCP preferred)
- Hands-on experience with data warehousing solutions (Snowflake, BigQuery, or similar)
- Proficiency in SQL and data pipeline development
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Salary : $50 - $55
