Automation Test Engineer (Embedded)
Location: Mountain View, CA
Work Mode: Onsite – 5 days/week
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Automation Test Engineer to join a cutting‑edge product team working on next‑generation consumer electronics and AR/VR devices. This role focuses on automating manual test cases using Python for embedded systems in a fast‑paced, product‑driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Automate manual test cases for AR/VR and consumer electronics devices using Python
- Design, develop, and maintain robust automation test frameworks
- Execute testing on embedded systems across Linux and Android platforms
- Perform power measurement and validate power management in battery‑powered devices
- Collaborate closely with cross‑functional engineering teams to ensure product quality
- Lead and mentor testing efforts as an Automation Test Lead (Embedded)
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in test automation for consumer electronics or AR/VR devices
- Strong programming skills in Python
- Hands‑on experience with Linux and Android environments
- Knowledge of power measurement and power management for battery‑powered devices
- Experience using automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium)
- Strong understanding of embedded systems testing and validation
