About the Role:
As an Activity Assistant, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing a variety of recreational and therapeutic activities for our residents. This may include:
Developing and implementing activity programs that cater to the interests and needs of our residents
Assisting with daily structured and unstructured activities, such as arts and crafts, games, and social events
Collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to identify and address the needs and preferences of our residents
Maintaining accurate records of activity participation and evaluating program effectiveness
Responsibilities:
Plan and lead daily activities, including arts and crafts, games, and social events
Assist with the preparation and execution of special events and celebrations
Maintain a clean and organized activities area that is welcoming and comfortable for residents
Provide support and assistance to residents with daily living tasks and basic needs
