Equipment Operator Power Infrastructure and Heavy Foundation Specialist

You will serve as a specialized operator responsible for the precision movement of heavy machinery and materials across complex electrical construction sites. You will be trusted to handle high-value equipment and transport essential materials while receiving the support of a dedicated, privately owned team.

• Operate a diverse fleet of heavy machinery including excavators, loaders, vertical drill rigs, and skid steers with surgical precision.

• Transport equipment and structural materials to regional project sites ensuring full compliance with CDL Class A regulations.

• Execute specialized drilling and excavation tasks required for substation foundations and large-diameter caissons.

• Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain equipment longevity and ensure crew safety.

• Coordinate with field supervisors to sequence equipment movements that maximize on-site productivity and minimize downtime.

• Support ground crews by utilizing telescopic forklifts and loaders to position materials in tight-access industrial environments.

• Active and valid CDL Class A license is mandatory.

• Minimum of 4 years of experience operating heavy equipment in a construction or industrial setting.

• Demonstrated proficiency with excavators, loaders, and skid steers.

• Proven ability to navigate and work safely within active heavy electrical or industrial construction zones.

• Technical certification or trade program completion as a Commercial Driver.

• Specific experience operating vertical drill rigs or telescopic forklifts.

• Previous exposure to heavy electrical construction or substation foundation projects.
