What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Team Manager position at Silverleaf Sexual Trauma Recovery Services?
POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for direct supervision of therapists and clinical students. Provide trauma-informed services while overseeing quality and compliance of clinical services.
Management of Clinical Team
- Provide direct supervision to therapists and clinical students;
- Assist with hiring, onboarding & training of new staff within team;
- Conduct quality control assessments for individual staff and the team as a whole;
- Facilitate clinical team meetings and case review;
- Implement chart audits and address deficiencies with individual staff and/or clinical team;
- Assist with a variety of administrative projects and tasks including staff scheduling, timesheets, trainings and performance evaluations;
- Maintain essential documentation and records;
Direct Therapy Services
- Plans, develops and implements outpatient treatment plans for clients and/or their family members;
- Maintains essential medical records and completes documentation in a timely manner;
- Provides assessments, screenings, and evaluations utilizing accepted diagnostic manual as appropriate;
- Conducts individual, family, and/or group therapy sessions and crisis intervention as clinically indicated;
- Participates in diagnostic and treatment planning conferences;
- Provide crisis response to clients via the crisis phone line and in-person as scheduled as needed;
- Provides mental health assessment during emergent medical process as needed;
- Provides case coordination with interdisciplinary team and other program staff;
- Provides referrals to appropriate outside services as needed;
- Exercises sound clinical and ethical judgment in treatment decisions and responsibility;
- Maintains professional conduct in all clinical and non-clinical interactions;
- Acts as resource to staff and other professionals;
- Consults with administrative and/or clinical supervisor as needed regarding clinical issues, policy, and procedures;
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of Master’s degree in a mental health discipline from an accredited college or university;
- An active license or certificate to practice a mental health discipline under Kentucky law;
- A minimum of 2 years post-degree clinical or counseling experience;
- Experience with management preferred;
- Knowledge and training specific to sexual victimization of adults and children strongly preferred;
- Proficient use of current technology and effective electronic communication methods;
- Must have good organizational skills and ability to prioritize projects;
- Must have own transportation for travel throughout the region and state;
- Must sign authorization release forms for a national criminal and other background check with a nationwide criminal record check clear of abuse and neglect findings, felony convictions, and of other misdemeanor convictions related to child abuse, family or intimate partner violence, crimes against minors or sexual offenses;
- Per 922 KAR 1:580, must be twenty-one (21) years of age;
- Per 922 KAR 1:580 and 8:010, shall submit to a criminal record check in accordance with KRS 17.165 and a central registry check in accordance with 922 KAR 1:470 during the application process and every two (2) years thereafter while employed by Silverleaf;
Additionally, an individual in this position must also comply with the following during their employment:
- Adheres to Silverleaf policies and procedures;
- Attend mandatory in-service and other training/educational programs as required;
- Complete 40 hours of training on rape and sexual abuse prior to contact with clients.
PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS: Exposure to direct victim trauma, including descriptions of violence, injuries, and stressful situations during medical and legal advocacy with victims will likely occur. Occasionally subjected to irregular hours due to crisis response duties including the crisis response and in-person advocacy.
Pay: From $70,478.00 per year
