This individual will play a pivotal role in developing innovative and effective solutions for our DoD customers within the IC sector.

Role Overview

The FireEye Administrator will manage, configure, and maintain FireEye (formerly Mandiant) infrastructure tools while driving the adoption of best practices for cybersecurity and IT management. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, providing training, and recommending strategic improvements to cybersecurity tools. The candidate will also interact with executive leadership and apply DevOps and Agile principles to enhance the organization’s IT services.

Primary Duties

• Conduct customer outreach to understand organizational and user needs.
• Track cybersecurity tool usage and recommend future tool investments.
• Manage FireEye infrastructure tools, including MVX, NX, HX, PX, IA, AX, and IAS PCAP.
• Develop and implement emerging technologies and IT service improvements.
• Lead training initiatives, including curriculum development and instructional design.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams in an Agile environment, leveraging tools like Atlassian Suite (JIRA and Confluence).
• Provide strategic recommendations for IT roadmaps to improve team and enterprise efficiency.
• Communicate regularly with executive leadership and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam.
• 2 years of experience installing, configuring, and maintaining FireEye devices, applications, and security tools.
• Experience with receiving and responding to user feedback on IT systems or cybersecurity tools.
• Knowledge of the DoD Risk Management Framework and Systems/Software Development Life Cycle.
• Ability to develop IT roadmaps and analyze data against objectives.
• Education:
  • High school diploma or GED with 7 years of IT project support, OR
  • Associate’s degree with 5 years of IT project support, OR
  • Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of IT project support.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification (e.g., CCNA-Security, CySA , GICSP, GSEC, Security CE, CND, or SSCP).
• Ability to obtain a DoD 8570.01-M Cybersecurity Service Provider - Infrastructure Support Certification (e.g., CEH, CySA , GICSP, SSCP, CHFI, CFR, Cloud , or CND) prior to start date.

Desired Qualifications

• Experience with additional cybersecurity tools (e.g., ForeScout, Fidelis, Splunk, Cribl, Palo Alto Firewalls, DoD ESS).
• Experience developing effective Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&M) strategies.
• Experience supporting enterprise-wide IT program offices or DoD ACAT/BCAT programs.
• Familiarity with digital transformation efforts to modernize IT systems.
• ITIL v4 Certification.
• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Certifications

• DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification required.
• Ability to obtain DoD 8570.01-M Cybersecurity Service Provider - Infrastructure Support Certification prior to start date.
• ITIL v4 Certification preferred.
