Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and organized Chiropractic Assistant / Receptionist to join our fast paced chiropractic office. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks with efficiency and professionalism. Your energetic approach will help create a welcoming environment, ensuring smooth clinic operations from appointment scheduling to record management. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and passionate about supporting patient care through effective communication and administrative excellence. Pay is competitive based on experience. Must have reliable transportation and valid drivers license.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly, verify insurance coverage, and assist with intake procedures using Jane App
- Schedule appointments accurately and coordinate clinic flow to optimize patient experience
- Manage multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette, addressing inquiries and promptly scheduling patients
- Verify insurance benefits, perform insurance verification, and handle billing processes
- Maintain and update patient records meticulously, review documentation for accuracy, and ensure confidentiality of health information management
- Assist with new patient exams and chart notes for the doctor.
Experience
- MUST have experience in a chiropractic, physical therapist or dentist office for 1 year
- Bachelors degree
- Pick up information fast, in a fast paced environment
- Knowledge of medical billing, coding (CPT, ICD-9/10), insurance verification, and Medicare guidelines is a plus
- Strong computer skills
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Experience handling multi-line phones, medical records management, and healthcare administrative support required
- Demonstrated understanding of HIPAA compliance standards and health information management practices
