Position Description:
- Except as specifically noted, the following are considered essential to this position.
- Assist in the interviewing residents/guardians and obtaining required information and signatures.
- Admit and prepare identification records for residents in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Admit residents in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Maintain an accurate record of available beds.
- Develop and maintain a good working rapport with inter-department personnel, as well as other departments within the facility.
- Obtain the resident/guardian's signature on all required permits, releases, authorizations, etc.
- Attach preadmission documentation to admission papers as appropriate.
- Perform secretarial duties as necessary.
- Collect, assemble, and check admission papers. Forward to appropriate department.
- Obtain the resident's assigned room number. Place on all necessary admission papers.
- Maintain various registries as directed including register for admission and discharge of residents.
- Maintain current records of all residents admitted/discharged by this facility in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Perform miscellaneous duties and assist business office personnel as required/directed.
- When appropriate, provides care/service taking into consideration the age related physical and psychosocial needs of the resident/patient.
- Employee demonstrates knowledge of SCNR Compliance Program and reports concerns to management.
- Performs any and all such duties related to the effective and efficient operation of Silvercrest Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation as assigned.
- Adherence to the standards and mission of the facility as outlined in the Silvercrest Credo.
Qualifications:
- Experience in an Admissions department in a hospital or other healthcare setting
- High-level oral and written communication
- Bachelor's degree preferred

Pay: $ $25.00 per hour
