What are the responsibilities and job description for the Purchasing Clerk position at Silverado Resort?
SALARY RANGE - This position pays $21.00-22.00/hour. The Purchasing Clerk is responsible for storing materials from receiving in the warehouse.
Essential Functions
- Must adhere to the company’s Service culture – 4 Keys to creating guests for life.
- Must actively participate in team member referral program and be a Talent Ambassador for Silverado Resort.
- Must participate in all resort required meetings and trainings.
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform/business attire and nametag.
- Issues supplies upon receipt of approved requisition.
- Delivers materials as required.
- Aids in taking inventory of all materials.
- Prepares and maintains reports and records as required.
- Operates company vehicles as assigned.
- Keeps storeroom clean and orderly at all times.
- Acts as a role model to other employees
- Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
- Responsible for receiving and unloading items.
- Delivering supplies and packages to designated locations.
- Operating fork lift to move supplies.
- Assisting with inventory control by following SOP’s.
- Ensure the safety and security of company, team members, and property guests while performing job duties.
- Properly utilizes company's procurement system on daily basis.
- Abide by all resort policies and safety rules.
- Perform other duties as requested by management.
Qualifications
- Must have good mathematical and clerical aptitude.
- Six months previous warehouse experience is desired.
- Must be 18 to drive a golf cart.
- Must complete mandatory forklift training.
Work Conditions and Schedule
- Weekend and holiday availability is required as well as flexibility with work schedule.
- The scope of the position may sometimes require a work week over 40 hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- This role requires operating a golf cart.
- Must be able to reach below and above shoulders while performing duties.
- Must be able to operate a pallet jack, weigh scale, pull carts and dollies filled with items weighing up to and/or over 100 pounds.
- Must be able to drive a golf cart.
