Responsibilities of a Receptionist:
- Greet visitors and provide them with information about the facility
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or staff member
- Assist with resident admissions and discharge procedures
- Maintain visitor logs and ensure security protocols are followed
- Perform clerical tasks such as filing, photocopying, and faxing
- Assist with scheduling appointments and coordinating transportation for residents
- Handle inquiries and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the smooth operation of the front desk
Receptionist Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role preferred
