TIG Welder

Silver Star Industries, Inc. is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented TIG Welder to join our manufacturing team. This position involves precision welding of steel, aluminum, and stainless-steel components while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, dependable, and takes pride in producing clean, accurate welds.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform TIG welding on steel, aluminum, and stainless-steel components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Set up, adjust, and maintain welding equipment and tools.
• Monitor welding processes and make necessary adjustments to ensure proper penetration, strength, and appearance.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications.
• Repair or rework welds as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety policies and welding standards.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of TIG welding experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Knowledge of welding safety practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Vocational or technical training in welding.
• Experience with additional welding processes (MIG, Stick).
• Welding certifications (AWS, ASME, or equivalent).

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 15-25lbs.
• Must be able to safely use personal protective equipment (PPE).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour
