Asphalt Laborer/Operator

Full-Time | Silver Star Construction 2401 S. Broadway Ave., Moore, OK 73160

Silver Star Construction is hiring Asphalt Laborers/Operators to support roadway and paving projects throughout the area. We are looking for hardworking individuals who enjoy working outdoors and contributing to quality infrastructure projects.

Primary Duties

• Assist crews with asphalt placement on roads, highways, parking lots, and residential developments
• Rake, spread, and smooth asphalt materials
• Support asphalt repair and patching operations using hot and cold mix products
• Operate hand tools and selected construction equipment
• Load, move, and organize materials throughout the jobsite
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas
• Assist equipment operators and skilled construction personnel as needed
  
  

Desired Qualifications

• Experience working around paving and asphalt operations
• Ability to operate equipment such as loaders, pavers, tractors, screeds, or skid steers
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to teamwork
• Ability to accurately measure and prepare work areas
  
  

Requirements

• Able to stand, bend, crouch, and perform physical labor throughout the workday
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Willingness to wear required PPE at all times
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to adapt to changing project demands and schedules
• Available for overtime, weekends, and night work when necessary
