What are the responsibilities and job description for the Beach Center - Bartender/Attendant position at Silver Slipper Casino & Hotel?
Receive and prepare beverage orders including mixing alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to standard beverage recipes. Maintain the cleanliness of the bar / pool area and equipment. Receive and deliver food orders, handle various methods of payment transactions. • Greet and serve guests in a friendly courteous manner; • Receive and prepare beverage and food orders from guests; • Know what brands of liquor, beer and wine we offer as “comped” beverages; • Mix alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to memorized standard beverage recipes; • Maintain cleanliness of bar / pool area by removing used glasses, napkins, emptying ashtrays and wiping bar top and pool furniture; • Verify pool patrons are guests of the Hotel / RV or invited guests over 21 yrs. • Distribute Pool towels to guests upon arrival, and collect upon departure. • Maintain and replenish ice supply; • Operate cash register, complete transactions according to procedures, and maintain accurate bank; • Never serve two drinks at the same time to one person; never a beer and a shot; • Be aware of intoxicated guests; stay current on care training; • Other reasonable duties as assigned.
