Then welcome to Silver Maple! We are a West County family owned Pet Hotel that has been in business since 1935 providing pets with fun, love, and care.
We are looking for experienced full and/or part time Doggy daycare/ kennel attendants. The animals' care and well being are our top priority at the hotel! We house animals every day of the year; so we are looking for someone that is also available to work weekends and holidays.
Required Experience:
- A true genuine care for the well being of animals.
- At least 1 year of experience working with large & small dog playgroups.
- An understanding of basic animal body language/ behaviors while taking care of dogs in play group settings.
- Customer service skills when greeting customers at pet drop off and pick up.
Other Duties:
- Disinfecting rooms, tidying rooms throughout the day, and other general cleaning duties.
- Scooping poop, and reporting anything out of the ordinary to Managers.
- Assisting Managers with daily tasks such as supervising feedings, stocking necessities, assisting with laundry, and providing daily examinations on all dogs and cats so we know they are well and comfortable.
- Washing and disinfecting food/ water bowls and buckets.
