Silver Lining Serenity Care is hiring compassionate in-home caregivers to support seniors and their families across South Haven and the surrounding lakeshore communities. If you find purpose in helping people stay safe, comfortable, and independent in the place they love most — their own home — we'd love to meet you.
This is non-medical, private-duty home care. You'll be matched with clients near you and build real relationships, not rush through a checklist. Whether you're an experienced caregiver or simply someone with a caring heart looking for meaningful work, we provide the training and support to help you succeed.
What you'll do
- Assist clients with daily personal care such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Help with mobility, transfers, and safe movement around the home
- Prepare meals and provide friendly companionship and conversation
- Handle light housekeeping, laundry, and tidying
- Provide medication reminders and watch for changes in well-being
- Drive clients to appointments, errands, and outings as needed
- Keep simple, accurate notes on each visit
What we're looking for
- A genuinely caring, dependable, patient person
- Reliable transportation, a valid Michigan driver's license, and auto insurance
- Ability to pass a background check
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Prior caregiving experience is a plus, but we will train the right candidate
- CNA, HHA, or CPR/First Aid certification is welcome (not required)
Areas you may serve South Haven, Bangor, Covert, South Haven Township, and nearby Van Buren and Allegan County communities along the lakeshore.
