Maintenance Technician - 2 years experience
Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team and help maintain a high-quality living experience for our residents. You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day upkeep and repair of the apartment community, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently.

Mon-fri 8-5 with oncall rotation
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections of apartments, grounds, and facilities to identify and address maintenance needs.
- Handle general repairs, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and upkeep of community amenities like pools, playgrounds, and laundry rooms.
- Respond to resident maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
- Maintain outdoor areas, including lawn care, landscaping, and seasonal tasks like snow removal.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and community policies.
- Document repairs, maintenance activities, and materials used using AppFolio and Divvy.
- Work with management to prioritize tasks and support larger maintenance projects.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Vocational training in maintenance or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in maintenance, repairs, or construction, preferably in a residential or apartment setting.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
- Skilled in operating hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and manage tasks efficiently.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
