SUMMARY
The Supply Planner will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling the production process to ensure optimal efficiency and productivity. This role involves working cross-functionally to align production schedules with customer demands and inventory levels.
Location: 100% onsite in Salt Lake City, UT
Key Responsibilities:
Production Planning: Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer orders and forecasted demands.
Resource Allocation: Allocate resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to ensure efficient production operations.
Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring materials are available for scheduled production runs.
Collaboration: Collaborate with procurement, production, and quality control teams to ensure seamless operations and address any scheduling conflicts or delays.
Data Analysis: Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
Communication: Communicate production schedules and changes to relevant departments and stakeholders.
Reporting: Generate and distribute regular reports on production performance, inventory status, and scheduling adherence.
Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production planning processes and overall operational efficiency.
Requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field, with
Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in production planning or scheduling within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the beverage industry.
Proficiency in using production planning software and tools such as SAP, Oracle, and MS Project is preferred.
Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies and certification in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or similar credential preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling them to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders.
Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively, along with a high level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy in scheduling and reporting.
