Work in the mountains and join our fun team Silver Fork Lodge and Restaurant is hiring a full time Chef.
2 years experience as Chef, Sous Chef, or Kitchen Manager is necessary. Weekend and holiday availability is necessary. We are a full service restaurant, bed and breakfast and banquet facility, open from 8 am to 8 pm, seven days a week. Exact shift hours will vary based on season and business needs.

Sous Chef Job Duties:
- Assist G.M. in maintaining all company standards and S.O.P.s
- Leads kitchen team
- Know all menus; specific dishes, portionings, ingredients, and cooking methods
- Assist in all areas of the kitchen; line, prep, and dish
- Maintain food quality and safety to company and health code standards
- Run the line for effectiveness and efficiency on the line and/or the wheel
- Provides guidance to junior kitchen staff members, including, but not limited, to line cooking, food preparation, dish plating, and dishwashing
- Train all kitchen staff through a methodical training procedures
- Oversees and organizes all areas of the kitchen: the line, prep areas, dish pit, walk-ins, pantry and dry storage, chemical area
- Ensures a first-in, first-out food rotation system and verifies all food products are properly dated and organized for quality assurance
- Assist in Prepping and stocking all cooking station and keeps stocked, especially before and during prime operation hours
- Supervises all food preparation and presentation to ensure quality and restaurant standards
- Verifies that food storage units all meet standards and are consistently well- managed
- Ordering, stocking, and inventorying: food products, sundries, cleaning and sanitation products
- Coordinates with restaurant management team on supply ordering, budget, and kitchen efficiency and staffing
The Chef position starting pay is $30/hour
The annual pay is approximately $70,00 based on full time hours worked plus some overtime (overtime should be expected during busy season as guest flow and events dictate
Monthly bonus of $500 starting after one year of start date
Paid time off package that starts accumulating after 3 months of work and is available for use 12 months after

REQUIREMENTS
- 2 years experience as Chef, Sous Chef, or Kitchen Manager of full production kitchen
- ServSafe or equivalent food production "manager" certification
