Responsibilities and Duties:
- Great and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Provide menus, silverware, condiments and other items guest may need.
- Help guide customers in making food and beverage selections. Make recommendations for complementary products.
- Take orders for food and beverage in accordance to "steps of service" guidelines and Utah liquor laws.
- Run food and beverage to tables in a timely manner.
- Pre-buss tables in accordance to steps of service guideline.
- Work together as a team and help co-workers run food or beverage when they are getting slammed.
- Perform opening and closing side work.
- Preparing restaurant tables, server station, desserts, and reach-in items with special attention to sanitation, order, and health department standards.
- Collaborate with other restaurant servers, kitchen, and bar staff.
- Resolve complaints or problems with a positive attitude and know when to get a manager involved.
- Issue bills and accept payment.
- Perform deep cleaning duties as needed.
- Perform other duties as needed.
