White Water - Food Lead (Seasonal, 2026)

Job Summary: Assists Food Senior Lead with the duties and responsibilities of the Food Division at the facility by performing the following duties.

This is a Seasonal position with full-time hours. This position begins 4/6/2026 and ends 9/13/2026.

Possibility of working at Silver Dollar City or the Showboat when White Water's operating season concludes.

Must be at least 16 years of age.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Other duties may be assigned)

• Assists in the operation of all food areas for park operations.
• Ensures work procedures and schedules are available and followed.
• Takes inventory of all food items and supplies as requested.
• Performs the work of subordinate personnel as needed.
• Manages difficult or emotional customer situations.
• Contributes to building a positive team spirit.
• Works with integrity and ethics.
• Follows policies and procedures.
• Ensures proper handling of customer credit card information in compliance with Property Procedures and Purchasing Card Industry (PCI) standards.
• Completes administrative tasks correctly and on time.
• Able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events. 
• Commits to long hours of work when necessary to reach goals.
• Observes safety and security procedures; Reports potentially unsafe conditions; Uses equipment and materials properly. 
• At the request of or in the absence of the Food Senior Lead:
  • Places orders with vendors for daily operation.
  • Ensures all food operations are ready for daily opening
  • Completes and approves time worked by employees.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Able to communicate efficiently
• The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly some of the day
• The ability to remember locations, understand and carry out instructions continuously
• The ability to work at a rapid speed frequently

Education and Experience:

• One to two years of related supervisory experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• The ability to lift 20 pounds frequently to 60 pounds maximum
• The ability to stand and walk on uneven terrain, inclines, asphalt, and concrete continuously
• The ability to work in extreme weather frequently
