Position Summary: Position requires a clinically competent registered professional nurse who provides, delegates, and coordinates nursing staff in the delivery of safe care in the AE office. Acts as a resource person in problem identification and solving for our surgical patients. Effectively interacts with patients, physicians, physicians’ office staff, and other health team members. Maintains the standards of professional nursing. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assesses each patient patient’s physical, psychosocial, cultural, nutritional, and functional needs Completes documentation according to specific guidelines Demonstrates open, honest, respectful communications in all interactions Supports the Mission, Vision and Core Values and 7 Behaviors Promotes a clean and safe environment of care, utilizing the SAFE error prevention habits Provides the highest standard of privacy and confidentiality in matters involving patients, coworkers, and the hospital by abiding by the Standards of Conduct Required Qualifications: Education and Training: Previous experience working in Pre/Post Recovery required Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois CPR certified Work Shift Details: Days, Days, Remote availability after probation period 90-180 days Department: PRE - POST RECOVERY Benefits for You At Silver Cross Hospital, we care about your health and well-being and that is why we work hard to provide quality and affordable benefit options for you and your eligible family members.
