Position Summary: Silver Creek is seeking a Public Safety Project Architect to lead the development and completion of projects with a primary focus on fire station projects. The Public Safety Project Architect will oversee the project programing and development process for new fire station construction projects. This role requires close collaboration with project managers, job captains, engineers, architects, consultants, and approval agencies to ensure high-quality, code-compliant, and constructible designs.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work closely with our business development team in project pursuits and take part in client interviews.
- Work closely with the client to refine project programs and requirements.
- Develop conceptual project designs for client presentation and review.
- Work with the internal, and external, project team to develop design concepts into complete construction document packages.
- Perform QA/QC to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with codes and project standards.
- Lead the preparation of construction documents using Revit, AutoCAD and related software.
- Provide technical leadership during design phases and lead complex detailing and design activities.
- Provide technical support during construction, including RFIs and shop drawing reviews.
- Mentor and guide junior staff.
- Stay current with applicable building codes, industry requirements, and construction technologies.
Qualifications:
- 6 years of professional experience in architecture or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2 years previous experience designing fire station projects.
- Previous experience as the client’s point of contact on fire station design projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
- Strong knowledge of the California Building code.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Professional licensure preferred.

Schedule: On-Site in our Perris Location
Salary Range: $115,000-$130,000 annually based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skills, relevant experience, internal equity, and market data.
