Silver Birch of Midtown is seeking Medication Technicians to join our team. You will ensure that all documentation, charting and reporting is done correctly and in a timely manner, demonstrate strong ethical and safety practices, and work closely with other care staff on resident updates and/or changes in status.
Silver Birch is an Assisted Living Community dedicated to providing the best care, compassion, and customer service to seniors in our communities.
What you will be doing
- Maintain accurate and detailed reports and records
- Document medication activity
- Comply with all medication management policies and procedures
- Record resident's medical information and vital signs
- Monitor and document all aspects of self-administration by residents
- Order/re-order medications, supplies and equipment; partner with pharmacy and families
- Provides exceptional customer service
What we're looking for
High School Diploma/GED required
One (1) or more years of verified experience as a Medication Technician in an Assisted Living community
Arizona State Caregiver Certification through Direct Care
Current CPR/First Aid Certification
Current and valid fingerprint clearance card
Current food handler's card
Strong customer service orientation
