Activities Assistant – Gateway at River City
Gateway at River City is looking for an enthusiastic Activities Assistant to join our team! In this role, you’ll support our Life Enrichment Coordinator in delivering engaging, meaningful, and fun programs that enhance the lives of our residents.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Assist with general store
Lead group activities, including preparation, set-up, clean-up, and follow-up
Assist with large group events and programs
Monitor and document resident engagement during activities
Track attendance and maintain activity records
Provide transportation for residents using the community van, as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience working with Seniors (Preferred)
High School Diploma or equivalent
Current CPR/First Aid Certification
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to collaborate with others to achieve common goals
Excellent relationship-building and customer service skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and varied hours
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based tools
