Silver Birch of Kokomo is looking for a Housekeeper to join our Environmental Services Team. In this role, you’ll help keep our community clean, safe, and welcoming for the residents who call it home. Your work plays an important part in helping residents feel comfortable, cared for, and at ease every day.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Clean and maintain community areas such as hallways, lobbies, lounges, elevators, and resident rooms
• Follow daily cleaning schedules and complete assigned tasks each shift
• Respect resident privacy, always knocking before entering rooms
• Use cleaning supplies safely and follow proper procedures for chemicals
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish to keep spaces neat and sanitary
• Clean bathrooms, mirrors, windows, and light fixtures
• Change bed linens and make beds as needed
• Collect and deliver resident laundry in a timely manner
• Report maintenance or safety concerns to your supervisor
• Restock and organize cleaning supplies at the end of your shift
  
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• A high school diploma or GED is helpful
• Housekeeping or cleaning experience is a plus
• Someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in their work
• A team member who is friendly, respectful, and comfortable working independently or with others
• Willingness to work some weekends, evenings, or holidays as needed
