How You’ll Make an Impact

• Strategic Partnership: Serve as the primary HR lead for site managers, coaching them on performance management and fostering a culture of open communication.
• Compliance Excellence: Act as the regulatory expert for Washington, California, and Alaska employment laws. You’ll ensure we are always audit-ready (I-9s, personnel files, and wage/hour compliance).
• Operational Agility: Partner with our Talent Acquisition team to lead on-site interviewing and navigate high-volume seasonal hiring surges.
• Employee Advocacy: Manage sensitive investigations with neutrality and high integrity, ensuring a productive and legal work environment for all.
• Total Rewards & Safety: Oversee local benefits enrollment, leave programs (FMLA/ADA), and site safety initiatives in partnership with Corporate Compliance.

Who You Are

• Experienced Leader: 5 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a management or leadership role.
• Industry Savvy: Background in manufacturing or food processing; experience with "satellite" locations.
• Certified Pro: PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP required.
• Proactive Doer: Initiative-taker who tackles problems without constant oversight and possesses high emotional intelligence.

The Details

• Schedule: Full-time, on-site (Monday–Friday) at the Orca Bay Foods facility, West Seattle WA.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred.
• Travel: While based in West Seattle, occasional visits to other locations may be required.

Salary Range: $119,765 – $156,035 Annual Discretionary Bonus
