Tasting Room & Sales Associate
Silvara Cellars — Leavenworth, Washington
Silvara Cellars is looking for an energetic, personable, and highly sales-oriented individual to join our team. This is a part-time position offering flexible hours, working closely with our manager and serving as a key right-hand member of our tasting room operation. Some weekend availability is necessary, particularly during our busier seasons and special events.
A strong sales background is essential. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with people, knows how to engage customers, and has the confidence and ability to turn a great tasting experience into wine sales and Wine Club memberships.
Responsibilities
- Greet and engage tasting room guests and provide an exceptional hospitality experience
- Conduct wine tastings and educate guests about Silvara wines
- Actively sell wine and Wine Club memberships
- Build relationships with customers and encourage repeat business
- Assist the manager with day-to-day tasting room operations
- Help with clerical and administrative duties, data entry, records, orders, and general office work
- Assist with events and other winery activities as needed
- Assist with occasional marketing materials, signage, social media graphics, and promotional projects; a graphics/design background is a definite plus
What We're Looking For
- Strong sales experience and proven customer-service skills
- Outgoing, confident, and comfortable talking with customers
- Wine knowledge or wine education is highly desirable
- Organized and dependable with good administrative skills
- Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team
- Computer and basic office skills
- Graphic design, Canva, social media, or related experience is a plus
- Willingness to learn and become highly knowledgeable about Silvara wines
- Flexible availability, including some weekends
