Key Duties
- Conduct technical readiness reviews for incident-based reporting systems, use-of-force data collections, and related national crime-statistics platforms.
- Support requirements development, architecture definition, system design reviews, and testing.
- Prepare detailed technical specifications for data-collection processes and system enhancements.
- Support program and project management activities, including integration planning and solution analysis.
- Provide guidance on XML schemas, flat-file formats, and data-exchange mechanisms.
- Evaluate public-facing data tools and recommend best practices for access and usability.
- Coordinate with reporting agencies, developers, technical teams, and program leadership.
- Assess the impact of business-rule changes on data-collection systems and data workflows.
- Top Secret
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Experience with XML schemas, flat-file data formats, and system interfaces.
- Knowledge of national data-collection environments or reporting systems.
- Experience with criminal-justice information systems or large public-sector data platforms.
- Agile/Scrum or SAFe certification.
