Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist

At Siloam Springs Veterinary Clinic, we are a compassionate and dedicated veterinary clinic serving the Siloam Springs area. Our team is passionate about providing the highest level of care to our patients and personalized service to their humans. We are currently seeking a friendly, motivated, and reliable Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist to join our growing team.

Position Overview:
This is a dual-role position that combines client service with hands-on patient care. You will be the first point of contact for our clients, assisting with scheduling, check-ins, and answering inquiries, while also helping the veterinary team with basic animal care tasks.

Responsibilities:

Reception Duties:

• Greet clients and patients warmly upon arrival
• Answer phones, respond to emails, and schedule appointments
• Manage client records and handle invoicing and payments
• Provide accurate information on clinic services and pet care

Veterinary Assistant Duties:

• Assist veterinarians and technicians during exams and procedures
• Restrain animals safely and compassionately
• Prepare exam rooms and equipment
• Administer medications or treatments as instructed
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the clinic

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a veterinary clinic preferred, but not required
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Comfort with animals of all sizes and temperaments
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient with computers and practice management software (e.g., Idexx Neo, Cornerstone, AVImark) is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
