We blend the Vietnamese Lunar New Year candy Mứt Rau Câu with the Japanese art of Kohakutou to create unique treats that look exactly like real gemstones and taste amazing. We operate a fast-paced production kitchen in Gaithersburg, where visual perfection is just as important as flavor.
Role Description We are looking for an adaptable and hands-on Production Associate to support our Silky Gem family's daily candy crafting and manufacturing operations. This is a great entry-level opportunity for someone eager to learn. You will be trained in crafting our signature crystal candies, helping assemble collections for our fulfillment centers, and jumping in wherever an extra set of hands is needed to keep our fast-paced kitchen running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in crafting, shaping, and processing our signature crystal candies to ensure visual perfection and flavor consistency.
- Assemble, package, and organize completed candy collections to safely and efficiently transfer them to our fulfillment centers.
- Provide all-around support to the production team, eagerly stepping in to help with any task needed across the facility to meet daily goals.
- Help organize and prep raw ingredients and production supplies for the day's workflow.
- Maintain a pristine, sanitized, and organized kitchen environment compliant with food safety and health regulations.
Qualifications
- Previous work in a commercial kitchen, bakery, or fast-paced hands-on environment is a plus!
- A strong team player with a flexible mindset and a willingness to help out wherever needed.
- Attention to detail and the dexterity required to handle and shape delicate products.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend throughout the duration of the shift.
- Ability to work extended hours or overtime as needed during peak production seasons.
Benefits & Schedule
- Hourly Rate: $16 – $18 depending on experience.
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, Full-Time (with occasional weekend hours during peak production seasons).

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35.0 – 50.0 per week
