Our client, a well-established and growing civil litigation firm, is seeking a Senior Insurance Defense Attorney to handle time-sensitive conditional demands and complex insurance matters. What You'll Do- Handle and respond to time-limited conditional demands with precision and urgency
- Draft and review:
- pleadings
- motions
- briefs
- affidavits
- settlement agreements
- legal correspondence
- Conduct legal research and develop strategic responses to complex insurance matters
- Advise clients (primarily insurance carriers) on risk, exposure, and resolution strategies
- Negotiate settlements and support favorable outcomes for clients
- Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to meet deadlines
- Clearly explain legal strategies to non-legal clients
- Maintain well-organized and up-to-date case files
- 5–7 years of insurance defense experience (required)
- Active Georgia Bar license (required)
- Experience handling time-sensitive demand responses strongly preferred
- Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage a high-volume caseload and meet deadlines consistently
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail
