Sr. Director of Enterprise Product Marketing

Silicon Motion is seeking a highly skilled Product Marketing Manager/Director to develop and grow our SSD Controller and Solutions business for Enterprise Storage and Data Center. This position requires a unique blend of analytical, technical, and marketing skills. Not only will you coordinate internally with many cross-functional teams to reach critical business decisions on product strategy, pricing strategy, and budget modeling, but you will promote and evangelize the Silicon Motion’s roadmap and products directly to end customers through direct engagements and strategic marketing initiatives. Account coverage will include a unique set of assigned enterprise global customers.

You will drive and manage account strategy at both a tactical and strategic level while working closely with customers, sales, product managers, technical marketing, business ops, and other cross-functional teams. This is a complex job that requires exceptional attention to detail, multi-tasking capabilities, and the ability to follow through on initiatives with many internal teams, from the business development stage until a design win is completed and turned into revenue. Essential Job Responsibilities:

Account Strategy

• Help shape the overall Enterprise strategy, managing complex business engagements across all stakeholders.
• Outline and develop account strategies together with the sales team and executive teams to grow revenue at data center and module maker customers.

Business Management

• Develop sales target forecasts, monitor weekly forecasts, and develop recovery plans to ensure budget achievement.
• Develop and manage account specific pricing strategies, business cases, and pricing response to customers.

Product Management

• Will be responsible for definition and coordination for Enterprise Controller /SSD Products.
• Will work across cross functional teams for support of owned projects from cradle-to-grave.

Sales Enablement

• Drive design win activities and monitor weekly progress.
• Manage new customer engagements and sales enablement activities for data center and storage customers.
• Provide marketing direction for development of technical whitepapers and collateral to be used for promoting Silicon Motion enterprise products.

Qualifications:

• BA/BS/MS degree in Engineering, Business and/or Product Marketing
• Multiple degrees in both Engineering and Business/Marketing disciplines preferred.
• Must be very proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, with strong data analytics and presentation skills.
• Requires related experience in Technical Product Marketing.
• Must have 10 years of Enterprise Controller or Enterprise SSD experience.
• Must be willing to travel > 25% of the time.

Estimated Base Pay Range (USD):

$250,000 - $290,000, $ per annum
