Operations Dispatcher for sawing & drilling company

The Dispatcher / Operations Coordinator will be responsible for scheduling crews, organizing work orders, communicating with customers, and making sure each job is properly prepared before the crew arrives onsite.

Responsibilities include:

• Scheduling and dispatching crews based on the scope of work for each job
• Making sure the right operators, crew members, trucks, equipment, saws, core drills, blades, bits, slurry control, water, and tools are assigned to each project
• Creating and maintaining clean, detailed work orders so operators and crews know exactly what they are walking into before arriving at the jobsite
• Understanding concrete cutting scopes when customers call in so the correct crew and equipment can be sent to the job
• Communicating with customers, general contractors, superintendents, foremen, operators, and field crews
• Managing daily schedules and making adjustments as jobs change throughout the day
• Coordinating emergency calls and determining whether current jobs can be moved around to fit urgent work into the schedule
• Managing crews directly and helping keep operators accountable for communication, job readiness, safety, and performance
• Tracking job progress throughout the day and helping solve issues as they come up
• Helping keep trucks, crews, equipment, and job information organized
• Following up on completed work orders, job notes, photos, and field communication as needed
• Supporting management with daily operations and company growth

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in concrete cutting, concrete sawing, core drilling, demolition, or related construction operations
• Strong knowledge of concrete cutting scopes of work, including flat sawing, core drilling, wall sawing, hand sawing, demolition, removal, and specialty cutting
• Ability to determine what crew, equipment, and tools are needed based on the job description
• Strong organizational skills and clean work habits
• Excellent communication skills with customers, contractors, foremen, and field crews
• Ability to manage multiple crews, jobs, schedule changes, and emergency calls at the same time
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment
• Able to stay calm under pressure and make quick decisions
• Reliable, punctual, and able to take ownership of daily operations
• Strong phone, text, email, and basic computer skills
• Safety-first mindset

Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
