SE Agricultural & Commercial Solutions, an agricultural construction company based in Byron Center, MI, is seeking a full-time Skilled Construction Laborer to join our team immediately. The ideal candidate will have a solid working knowledge of hand and construction tools, a positive attitude, and strong leadership qualities. We’re looking for someone who enjoys working collaboratively, takes initiative, and is motivated to learn and grow in the role.
General Qualifications

- Ability to take direction from supervisors and project managers
- Reliable and punctual
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Job Requirements & Skills
- Proficient with general construction hand and power tools
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Carpentry and framing experience preferred (5 years)
- Steel erecting experience preferred (2 years)
- General construction experience preferred (5 years)
- Ability to lift 75 lbs and work 40 hours per week
- Willingness to travel and work out of town for up to one week at a time (returning by Friday evenings)
- Ability to work outdoors year-round in varying weather conditions
- Comfortable working around livestock, including cattle
- Ability to work at heights using ladders, lifts, or equipment (boom lifts, SkyTrak, forklifts preferred)
- Commitment to workplace safety and OSHA compliance
- Chauffeur’s License (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- CDL Class A is a plus (company will cover cost of first test)
- Welding experience is a plus (training opportunities provided)
