Salary Range: $18-20 hr

Job Description & Responsibilities 

Sigora Solar is seeking a Field Service Technician III to join our growing team.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on residential solar and commercial solar systems that are roof mounted or ground mounted.
• Troubleshooting electrical and control equipment faults.
• Removal/Replacement/Installation of hardware, PV modules, inverters, monitoring equipment and any other component.  
• Prepare reports, mostly through automated tools, if needed to comply with deliverables in O&M contracts.
• Help in all areas of preventative and corrective maintenance as directed by manager with minimal supervision.
• Document completion of work and cleanup of job site.
• Attend training sessions on equipment as provided by the manufacturer and approved by manager.
• Use of equipment and resources in accordance with instructions provided by the company.  
• Adherence to Company policies, quality, environmental health and safety policies and good housekeeping practices.  
• Weekend on call duties for emergency response to significant faults.    
• Attend mandatory training sessions on new products, installation methodology and safety.  
• Additional duties required as needed
• Must have and maintain a clean driving record.
• Must have the ability to sit and stand for long periods of time.
• Must not have a fear of heights
• Work well alone and in groups
• Be punctual
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.
• 3 Years of Solar and/or Electrical experience is a must.
• Powerwall experience is preferred.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Must have and maintain a clean driving record.
• Must have the ability to sit and stand for long periods of time.
• Must feel comfortable with working in roofs of varying heights
• Work well alone and in groups
• Be punctual
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.
