Responsibilities
- Conduct outdoor utility locating activities using specialized underground utility detection devices.
- Identify and locate underground utilities such as gas, water, electric, and communication lines.
- Mark the location of utilities clearly and accurately to prevent damage during excavation or construction work.
- Follow strict safety protocols to ensure personal safety and the safety of others on-site.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding utility locations and project status.
- Maintain detailed records of utility markings and locate reports for project documentation.
- Work independently in various outdoor environments, demonstrating reliability and attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Proven outdoor work experience, preferably in utility locating or related fields.
- Familiarity with underground utilities and the use of utility locating devices.
- Ability to interpret maps, blueprints, or plans related to underground infrastructure.
