More About The Role
This is an exciting job opportunity for you as a Component Planner in Littlestown, PA, with Signify, the world leader in lighting.
- Ensure on time delivery of materials according to customer requirements and maintain balanced inventory levels.
- Procurement of all components attached to the respective Purchasing Group and MRP (Material Requirements Planning) Controller in the corresponding factory.
- Issue purchase orders for components and control pull in, push out, and confirmation dates. Reconcile supplier invoices.
- Ensure availability of components needed to complete customer orders in accordance with established lead times and to maintain continuity of production. Implement improvement actions to confirm orders and timely deliveries.
- Forecast and send the demand to suppliers, receive forecast confirmation, and follow up with suppliers to ensure long term availability.
- Work with Global Components Teams, Commodity Teams, and strengthen supplier relationships. Prepare and present required reports.
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, or related
- Supply chain work experience (internship experience also considered)
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external customers and suppliers
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship needs.

- Salary: $60,500 - 88,660 based on experience
- Bonus: target bonus opportunity - 5%
