The Spring internship program is from February 2nd through May 22nd , 2026.
You’ll be responsible for providing support to New Product Development (NPD) teams for our connected lighting products and controls.

- Coordinate with marketing and lead engineers to ensure project specifications are clear, complete, achievable, and consistent with voice of the customer (VoC).
- Ensure design progression via CAD modeling reviews, thermal and mechanical analysis, drawing and model retention, testing plan creation, test review, and coordinate with internal and third-party compliance.
- Meet project tooling budget and product cost requirements.
- Coordinate with sourcing team to ensure vendors are identified, quotations are obtained, and quality standards/form deliverables are met.
- Prototype and build Proof-of-Concepts.

- Currently in pursuit of a Bachelors' or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (student through May 2026)
- Demonstrate basic mechanical design approaches and capabilities, proficient in CAD
- Have basic knowledge of various materials and their structural and thermal properties
- Excellent communication, organizational and people skills and the ability to work across functional groups
- Ability to articulate and promote Engineering best practices
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship needs.
