The Business Support Representative (BSR) supports the Strategic Sales team by handling inbound calls, routing customers to the right Business Development Manager (BDM) or Account Manager (AM) and providing full sales coverage when team members are out. This role is designed as a development path toward becoming a BDM or AM, with hands-on experience in quoting, customer communication, and order operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Answer and route inbound Strategic Sales calls to the correct BDM/AM.
- Gather basic customer info and ensure fast, professional handoff.
- Cover for BDMs or AMs during vacation, leave, travel, or high-volume days.
- Handle quotes, order updates, follow-ups, and customer communication as needed.
- Prospecting specific regions and setting up customer meetings.
- Prepare accurate quotes following program rules.
- S upport order processing, tracking, and customer updates.
- Maintain clean CRM/SRM notes and task follow-through.
- Provide timely, clear updates on orders, issues, and next steps.
- Represent the Strategic department professionally in all interactions.
- Communicate with logistics, credit, tech support, and installation teams.
- Help keep workflows organized and accurate information.
- Participate in training, shadowing, and coaching.
- Develop skills that prepare for promotion into a BDM or AM role.
- All other duties are assigned.
- Strong communication and customer service skills .
- Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable learning CRM/SRM tools.
- Prior sales or support experience preferred but not required.
- Interest in eventually becoming a BDM or AM.
- 2 years in sales support, inside sales, or customer service within a B2B environment is preferred.
- Experience with quoting, CRM systems, and order management is a plus.
- This position may require the ability to perform tasks that involve sitting, standing, walking, lifting 25 lbs., computer work, and other physical activities. Candidates should be able to meet these physical demands with or without reasonable accommodation.
