Position Overview
We are seeking a talented and motivated Kitchen & Bath Designer / Sales Consultant to join our team. This role is a unique blend of design expertise and client-facing sales. The ideal candidate will have a strong design background, technical proficiency in AutoCAD (or similar design software), and the ability to guide clients through the design and sales process from concept to completion.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to design custom kitchens, baths, and specialty spaces (closets, laundry rooms, etc.)
- Develop detailed floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings using AutoCAD or comparable design software
- Prepare and present design concepts, proposals, and quotes to clients
- Recommend cabinetry, finishes, and layouts that balance aesthetics, functionality, and budget
- Generate sales by building strong client relationships and guiding them through the design & purchasing process
- Coordinate with manufacturers, contractors, and installers to ensure accurate orders and smooth project execution
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of design trends, cabinetry lines, and installation standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (preferred) or other design software (required)
- Strong design portfolio, ideally with experience in kitchens, baths, or cabinetry
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Sales-oriented mindset with ability to close projects and meet revenue goals
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects at once
- Experience in cabinetry, kitchen & bath design, or related industry preferred
